MOTOR VEHICLE (THIRD PARTY INSURANCE) ACT 1943 - SECT 28
28 . Offences: general penalty
(1) Any person who
does or attempts to do any act, matter, or thing in breach of any of the
provisions of this Act, or fails or neglects faithfully to observe and perform
any duty or obligation imposed on him by any provision of this Act, shall be
guilty of an offence against this Act.
(2) Every person who
commits any offence under this Act shall, if no penalty is expressly specified
for the offence in this Act, be liable on conviction to a penalty not
exceeding $400.
(3) Proceedings for
any offence under this Act shall be heard and disposed of summarily.
