Power to obtain information from Departments and authorities(1) Without limiting the generality of section 70, Comcare may, by notice in writing, require the principal officer of an Entity, a Commonwealth authority or a licensed corporation to give Comcare, within such period as is specified in the notice, such documents or information (or both) as are specified in the notice, being documents or information in the possession, custody or control of the Entity or authority that are relevant to a claim made by, or in relation to, an employee of the Entity or authority or that relate to the performance of functions or the exercise of powers by the principal officer under Part III.
(2) A principal officer to whom a notice is given shall comply
with the notice without delay.
