NATIVE TITLE ACT 1993 - SECT 182
Fees for persons giving evidence(1) A person, other than a party, summoned to appear before the Tribunal to give evidence is entitled to be paid, for his or her attendance, any fees, and allowances for expenses, that may be prescribed.
(2) The fees and allowances must be paid:
(a) if the witness was summoned at the request of a party--by that party; or
(b) in any other case--by the Commonwealth.
